About us
G M Monk Ltd is an electrical contractors’ firm, based in Eastbourne. We have been established for over 40 years and offer a range of electrical services to key client groups (local authorities, schools/academies, commercial clients, and individuals) across Sussex and Kent. We currently employ over 50 staff to support our operations and offer a friendly and supportive environment in which our staff thrive and feel valued.
Purpose of the role
This role sits within our Contracts works team and supports delivery of our local authority, schools, and private commercial contracts. Work tasks include reactive repairs, fault finding, compliance servicing and remedials and small to medium installation works/upgrades.
The post holder will ensure onsite works are conducted in line with the required technical and regulatory standards and adhere to all company policies and processes and will liaise with clients in a professional manner, ensuring the highest standards of customer care.
The role will be included in our call-out rota and will be subject to our call-out retainer pay as per our terms and conditions. A company vehicle is included in the role.
This role will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check due to the nature of our client groups and sites attended.
